Such a shame they made a visit you were looking forward to hard work! You’ve already been given good advice regarding LFTs etc but I just wanted to empathise, I agree the BF should be kept at home Rofl thank you all for your good wishes and  for despatching LP, he will be looked after! • My lumpectomy and removal of lymph nodes surgery tomorrow. Petrified of sentinel node injection and never had op before. Praying for a good outcome in clear margin and negative lymph nodes. 1.5cm, glandular, invasive, HER2+, definitely having chemo and Herceptin. Struggling mentally, since diagnosis on 17/12/21.

  • Hi I had lumpectomy and sentinel node removed Aug 2015. Don't worry about the injection, its just some radioactive dye to guide the surgeon. I had it and honestly it took about 10 mins from walking in the hospital to walking out. My advice is simply don't look. There was a young health care assistant who was there obviously to distract/ comfort. So i just talked quietly to her, didn't move and viola! It was over in a flash.

As for the op, I never had one before and was terrified but everyone was nice and kind and the pre op is like a nice glass of wine and then in a flash you're out and when you go for a Wee its blue! and i was home by teatime.

Best of luck and watch out for the blue wee  xxx
