Hi. I’m new to all this, forum and cancer but I couldn’t agree more with you about the waiting game. It’s punishing isn’t it.
Northerner…mmmm can I come to your house?
is this the young lady who did the lovely tapestries?
well done on getting her degree.
it is lovely that you maintain contact.

After yet another storm.....look at the colour of the water and the speed....the log was almost out of sight by the time I crossed the road( bridge) to take the other direction. We were only commenting on Thursday about how clear the water was!
Violetsniff it was Emily she just finished uni she did American politics her dissertation was on Relgion and American policy making .If covid hadn't arrived she would have been at an American uni for this year but it got cancelled .
Its her older cousin who weaves and designs .
Unfortunatley she got hollow legs so all the egg and bacon pie. Sausage rolls ,chicken etc if not eaten has been taken home in doggy bag cake and strawberries with cream all gone Sorry
Hahaha, my big (6foot) brother had hollow legs too, as a teenager he was almost impossible to fill!

Hello you beautiful Fruit Loops.
The support here is wonderful. I am here in the back ground reading and trying to catch up - my mind has its own agenda at the moment - it really doesn't like me concentrating and technology is loving playing me up.
This is only a short post, hope to be back later or tomorrow......
I was just wondering if anyone knows how GodWilling is keeping, only I know she was giving so much support to others, I couldn't help wonder how she is keeping as I can't seem to see any recent posts, I could be wrong maybe I have missed the posts
I was wondering how on earth moomymanaged to sneak off to Africa.... especially with all the travel restrictions
Anyway dear Fruit Loops catch you all later - love and hugs xxxx
Hahahaha, WhatHappened, I just HAD to sneak around and take that photo, it made the family giggle too. The Zoo is a big site, and is zoned in different ‘world’ areas, showing creatures from that continent/part. They specialise in captive breeding and conservation these days, have had a notable record in Przlwalski (can’t spell it but it’s an endangered species) horses which I believe have been released in the wild again. Whipsnade is the ‘country park’ side of London Zoo and is a great day out if you’ve never been.
Lacomtekp we’ve had some localised flooding too, the road drains empty into an old system which doesn’t cope very well with high rainfall. One town resident put a picture up of his lawn which he said had a shoal of river fish swimming around! I can only assume his garden gets river overflow, as the town is at the confluence of two rivers. I suspect it’s the old toll house at the northern end of the town, one storey at the roads bridge side but two further storeys below road level.

I'm finally back on here and catching up on posts having been locked out numerous times. Lovely photos from Africa!! And flooding is going to be bad in places after so much rain. .
Still no date for moving, which is becoming tiresome. Just carrying on packing boxes. And training for the Macmillan Mighty Hike. Walked 10k today. Gradually increasing the distance.
