.
Hubs has a long appointment tomorrow with transport booked, a spinal CT with dye in Stoke Mandeville, so we’ve decided I should do my bluebell walk then and take lots of photos to show him when he gets home. The Covid test he had was not a good one, no result possible, but the hospital phoned me this morning, decided they will still go ahead and check him on arrival, so sensible. I explained he’d had both jabs and a positive test 4 weeks after the first one anyway, and that we check temp and oxygen sats every morning and all has been fine.
I’ve also booked transport for us both for next Tuesday, his first to meet the Oncologist at the Churchill hospital in Oxford. Daughter has phoned the consultants secretary without us knowing (she’s told me quietly via text) and asked that they really get on with things as it’s taken so very long thus far, and apparently they have promised that if there’s treatment possible and he consents, they will move things on at a pace!

I was going to add to the bluebell theme, we went a short walk today and I took photos of both kinds of bluebells.... so now I ask... I believe one is native and protected in Great Britain and I believe the other is from Europe (I can't remember where). I have the usual problem... as usual this 'upgraded and updated' site 'still' does not let me 'upload' photos from a computer. I will post this and then log back on from my mobile......
I have raised this with Steph - Macmillanon the 'look out for our improvements' thread.
Sending love to everyone xxxxx
Good morning....
I know today is a worrying day for several of you so just letting you know I think about you all.
I hope this sunrise says it all. Hope for better days!
If you are taking advantage of the bank holiday weekend....I know Northerner and LondonLass .....hope that the weather is kind to you but you'll enjoy the break. Also Violetsniff with your 'bubbling' friends. I think the time is fast approaching....now many of you have had two vaccinations and the statistics from this are so encouraging.....to put fear aside. Obviously being sensible is a good thing but I think you can allow yourselves a bit more freedom...within the law....and worry a little less.
Now I must watch France2. Information about the deconfinement here are being published this morning at 06.00.
Take care. Love to all. Karen
