Northerner..I love your meme about “Think of all the good moments of this day and keep a smile for tomorrow”-that was all I could read properly today and it really helped me, so thankyou!

Mmmmmm!
I hope everyone has as good a day as possible especially going through treatments, appointments, awaiting results.
Ive now got an appointment with lymphoedema service to get checked although area/soreness/fullness is improving and shoulder movement much better, enough that I can do my stretches/exercises easily ... and wear a bra these past few days. I’ve got a physio assessment in the pipeline for my ‘dysfunctional’ shoulder/arm. If someone had done a good history/exam they would have thought that without my prompting.I forgot to add in all the other clunky/grating/painful joints lol. I do need to understand what the problem is so I can manage it optimally. As I’d queried whether a bone scan was necessary before any basics had been looked at the nurse had talked to clinician who said do bone scan (just to check) so they aren’t putting it on hold so I can be assessed first. I don’t have to have it but the nurse implied I may later regret not having it. I think this experience highlights the need for a good examination and history taking to determine the best approach although they may have still come to the same conclusion. It just feels so backside forward. So, I’ll probably have scan and hope it’s ok. If there’s anything then it will have been picked up. Probably sensible approach ?
Lovely and sunny here. Good day to be outside xx

Sounds like they just want to scan to cover all bases Flossie25. Although a full body scan seems alot when it's just your shoulder that you are having issues with! Have they xrayed the shoulder? Dud you have a scan a while ago on your shoulder? Or am I muddling you up with someone else?
On a plus it will hopefully rule out any bone issues and then they might try and sort your shoulder out with exercises or strapping if needed!!!
I will keep fingers crossed that it's something easily sorted. Take care Hun xxx
LondonLass I've not had a bone scan before .... only dexa. No xrays. I'm feeling quite sanguine about it... at the minute !!! Hope you are doing ok and that your sister is improving. Hugs xx
