So so happy to hear your great news Squeaky, it's such a huge relief when you know the cancer is gone and no lymph nodes involved. Doesn't it feel surreal looking back to when it all started?
Don't put too much pressure on yourself to live your best life, continue to be gentle and kind to yourself. This was a traumatic experience and it can take time to adjust back.
Wishing you all the best xx
Great news so pleased for you!
LP is on his way back to you LondonLass it was a very long wait today. Appointment was 1.30 but unit was so busy I didn’t get actual chemo till 4.45pm so not home till after 6pm.
LP ran about helping the nurses and kept everyone entertained walking along the windowsill in and out of the blinds and being silly. He was a little fed up with how long we were there and I’m so glad we didn’t cold cap it today, (no point as lost too much hair) I think he was a bit knackered so popped him inside my heated sleeve where he snoozed happily...though nobody has mentioned how badly he snores Hope he arrives back safely for whoever needs him next.
I had a lovely dinner with hubs and daughter but despite taking nurofen as told I have a thumping headache so will head to bed a bit earlier tonight.
Wishing you all peace and calm in the storm...with a helping of laughter and joy to bring healing ️
