I too missed Red Shoes but will hopefully catch it on catch up, watched 30 years of HIGNFY (have I got news for you) which was funny. We recorded some programmes but I didn’t think to record all I wanted to watch; thank goodness for catch up!
we had a lovely long zoom with the family though, in spite of sons MiL who stayed over (support bubble that she really milked!) and so will have to stay sober to drive her home tonight, she doesn’t drive (didn’t think it worth her while to learn as she was waited on hand and foot by her husband who died a few years back!....she’s not the brightest of people, sadly!) yes, miaow!

Looks like 2020 Has brought the best out of some of the Hubbies on here
I had lots of amazing gifts and felt so blessed. Yesterday was just non stop and definitely more exhausting having to make sure we all kept a reasonable distance! However I am grateful that my family are safe and well and that we all had a lovely time. Also pleased that I got to facetime my lovely Buddy Jenny () and also a family friend who lives in Cambridge! It was so nice to see their smiling faces and to chat with them face to face albeit through an ipad!
However today was probably the most precious moment of Christmas for me and the most humbling. We took a Christmas dinner with all the trimmings, piping hot with an extra tub of gravy across to a lady that has set up her own little bed in the doorway of an empty store near us! She was so grateful that we had thought of her and you could see how much those few minutes of human contact had meant! I wish we could do more, but knowing she has had at least one hot meal today was better than nothing!!
Hope everyone has had a lovely day and has managed to relax. Sending lots of Love to all. Sal and LP xxx
