One of the reasons warm enough outside. This morning daughters new partner is ex forces and can produce a fire in about 30 secs 

Right, from tomorrow we are all tier 4 which means one person from each couple can meet in a public place? So can we swap presents? So anxious to give son his.....

I would definitely say presents can be swapped when meeting, place on ground, step away, recipient steps forward.

Hi yes moomy as you know I'm CEV so ultra careful .I also know you are very careful and are uncomfortable going out .  So Yes you can swap if you meet on a one to one but do what makes you and your son comfortable with regards cross contamination 

I use my porch as Quaratine so porch is washed down and sprayed. Items are put in there wiped after a quarantine period i.e. Not touched by me she would come into porch and take them . Porch and door handles the cleaned.

When meeting son and grandaughter last week presents had been wrapped then put in xmas bag for at least 72hrs . Gel on hands then Placed them in boot of car . We opened boot and stepped back son gel hands and took bags to his car.   He then put pressies in car and put xmas bag back in our boot to dispose or clean ...up to us .

All sounds like a palaver ,it is ,but it means pressie hadn't been touched by us only possible cross contact was xmas bag handle but again gel protected . Once pressies in his boot he could if he wanted to then opened them as parcels had not been touched by us for over the 72 hours and actual pressies for longer .
