Hello everyone , hope you have all eaten too much !
i had sausage rolls and trifle for lunch....not on the same plate !
a friend called unexpectedly and brought a cracker to stand in the front path and pull on her way to her daughters ....a nice surprise ....
we are forcast a storm at the weekend , keep warm and safe
thank you for all your support.......me. X
Ooh I miss trifle! Was going to try to find vegan jelly to make one but we forgot. That was nice if your friend to call . I feel bad one of my friends on his own today but we are locked down in Wales and my hubby in shielding category plus my future son in law who lives with us parents also vulnerable so we have to limit interactions.
It's great to have good friends I'm so glad the trifle and sausage rolls were on different plates .Although my 23yr old grandson when he was younger would ask what the problem was it all ends up in stomach together .
My daughter a bit obsessed with potatoes! We had nut roast Wellington, fake turkey, vegan Yorkshire's, vegan cauliflower cheese And vegan chocolate log! I was vegetarian for years until pregnant and now eat chicken sometimes. Y daughter was raised on soy mince for cottage pie, spaghetti Bol. Lasagna so no surprise when she went vegan 6 years ago age 19. My hubby not bothered about me never cooking red meat or fish aside from cod in batter so we didn't miss turkey today.
Some very creative ways to spend Christmas!
...your husband is a hoot!!
Maybe you could remind him you are actually Cinderella !!xx
@violetsniff he always leaves his wrapping to Xmas eve and then uses rolls of paper, boxes to disguise it. This slipper was wrapped as giant cracker !
I bought him this which my daughter thought looked rude
