.
Snap!! I also seem to have inherited son and daughters ...think it's because I'm only one with boarded out loft . Or maybe they living under the illusion I'll fill them all again lol
Sooo! This year not using wrapping paper have used tissue paper and recycled bags . Also bought lge xmas bags for life type with very xmassy designs so all other bags fit in one for each person .
Think we might be in tier three so my plan is the bags can go into porch isolation to be picked up by recipients .
Good luck LondonLass hope all went well and you are a stable mabel please God xxx All will be crossed for you until the results are in xxx
Like others, I've got everything crossed that you're stable, LondonLass/Sal.
My optometry appointment went fine but I need one new contact lens which she will order, cataract still ok, she'd order that lens too but sod's law I'll need the cataract doing within a few months of that! So the new lens is for the less-long-lived one which has already had the cataract done.
Now waiting a GP call, I've a painful calf which is gradually getting worse over a couple of weeks.
Hugs xxx

Firstly Grogg......
REALLY, REALLY, REALLY pleased to hear your news! I hope you are going to mark the day with a treat of some sort....you deserve it! Xxx
My day has been busy BUT very well organised! Not used to things running quite so smoothly! So the scans are......
Hopefully no more for another 6 months
However now it's the worst bit..... And.....
According to the Radiographer the report should be back with my Onco in a week!!!!! So why is my appointment so far away?? Maybe just maybe he'll send me a letter! I can but hope!!
So LP did a great job of keeping me company. He tried a couple of times to sneak off to the coffee shop and in fact I think he might of made it there during my Bone scan as when I had finished and collected him from the chair he was sitting on, his gloves were all sticky!! Then I found the pile of crumbs in the bottom of my bag! Sneaky little chap!
Funniest bit was when the Radiographer asked me to empty my pockets and I pulled out LP, his face was a picture!! But he didn't ask any questions, in fact I think he might of been the one who let LP out, because i noticed he had a bag of cakes sitting on the desk, that weren't there when the scan started At least LP was being helpful! Unless of course the cakes were there and LP helped himself.....whoops!!!
LP is now snuggled up with Bella on the sofa! In fact I might just join them after my bath!
Thanks again for all the well wishes and crossed fingers! I really hope I'll be back to share some positive news soon.
Hope EVERYONE is having as good a day as they can. Sending lots of love to all. Sal xxxx
Hello Sal,
my day wasn’t a whole lot more exciting!
Left home at 11, chemo 12.30, home around 4.30. I’m very weary from doing not much.
you must live very near your hospital to get home for lunch. I’m about an hour away..
was hoping to blob out in front of telly, but greeted by No signal message! Bad timing.
Grogg Great news and signed off.....Do you continue to have regular mammograms now? Five years have gone quite quickly, haven't they? I don't think we would have thought that in 2015. Keep your fingers crossed my five year check will have a similar result on Thursday. I have no reason to think it won't...... except what if?......................
Cyber hugs
Love Karen
Thank you all! I had a take away cooked breakfast and now a curry with 3/4 bottle of wine I had to share other 1/4 with hubby !
I am concerned a not about back to 3 yearly check up as I had no lump when diagnosed, picked up at annual screening. I might go private for annual mammogram as even though they make me nervous and anxious it is peace of mind.
