Hi Everyone,
Wow you have all been so busy while we have been away on our canal boat. It has taken me ages to read it all and smile at all your doings. The weather was kind to us-only rained once at night thankfully. We really enjoyed ourselves and were pleased not to find any cluster flies in residence!! While we were on the boat we saw lots of various types of waterfowl with their young but by the time I had my phone from inside they had swum away- not the best photographer either so perhaps just as well ! It was very restful and great to smile and waive to the other boaters (socially distanced of course !) We returned home at lunchtime thus missing the worst of the traffic on the motorways.Hope to go again very soon- fingers crossed.
Hope everyone is able to continue with their treatments and appointments this week.Love to all xx

I really understand how you feel LondonLass. I feel as if I an being left behind too.Everyone is going out to nice places, to the gym, outdoor swimming pools etc, and I am not.Pubs restaurants don’t interest me at the mo, too risky, as are the rest.I can’t go to nice places cos of the loo problem. Tai chi starts in Sept, hoping will be ok if all wear masks. I might consider a face shield as I don’t trust all of them to be careful. No choir, but we are doing zoom singing on Weds nights, love it, though bit difficult singing Wachet Auf with no other singers to follow!
LP enjoyed his trip to the breast clinic. The nurse a the door was pleased he was wearing a mask, but ha had to sanitise his gloves and have his temp taken. He also had to fill in his covid questionnaire . He put at the bottom ‘where’s’ the snacks and treats????They sent him off to the cafe, open today, and he had a whale of a time in the kitchen. By then I had gone upstairs and he couldn’t find me. So back to the kitchen, abd then belatedly to the mammo room. Heliked the machine and especially the x-rays. He told me they were normal on yhe way back to the clinic, then shot off back to the kitchen again The BC . nurse asked where he was. She called him and back he came snd git more treats. He booked his next appt before I did—a self funded mammo and examinations next July, 11 years.
I was do pleased to see the lovely surgeon agin. He saved my life
Love ti aall fruitloops and LPxxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hi moomy,
Have just listened to your beautiful choir- it was so moving and brought tears to my eyes.Sing Gently will be my goto song on my phone now.I'm sure it was a great experience to take part but must have been very emotional for you all too. Well done you xxx Kwissy
Thanks WhatHappened that was the correct link!
I had a rough day with vertigo followed by a sick headache, feeling rather better now but haven’t got dressed all day, in and out of sleep, but had to get downstairs to sort out food and drink this afternoon as hubs really can’t carry stuff with 2 sticks, bless him!
tomorrow we hope to collect some working power wheels for his wheelchair at last, they failed in February! Sadly about 5 months out of warranty, the first that have done so that late on. So we await developments as to how to proceed.
Night night fruit loops, sleep well and stay safe
Sleepy fairy dust awaits any who need it
