Results came back at about 6pm. I'm clean & green! No virus, so I'm back on a normal ward. This my 5th ward in the fortnight. I've been red, yellow, green, yellow & now back to green. Yellow was the same ward both times - the same bed, even.
Never mind a tour of South Kensington - I'm having a tour of the Royal Marsden!
P. S. I didnt know LP could sing and play guitar. He has so many talents.
The drug I was supposed to have is called Vedolizumab. It was to treat the colitis, which is refusing to settle this time. It is licensed for UK use, but is no longer being funded on the NHS, even on compassionate grounds.
And, seaspirit44, the big bugs were very comforting.
Hi everyone! Been reading back, and whew there's a lot going on!!
A belated very Happy Birthday seaspirit44!!
Hope you escape from Hotel NHS soon , you must be feeling a bit like a yoyo by now with all the ward changes!!
I'm so sorry your friend (ex?) has done this to you. I think Karen Lacomtekp hit the nail right on the head. Faith is a very personal thing, and definitely between you and God. It's not for anyone else to tell us how to live that out. The things done in the name of Christianity unfortunately very often bear little resemblance to the way of life preached by Jesus and the Apostles. And that makes me incredibly sad, especially because people get badly hurt. So, massive hugs to you honey, as well as my thoughts and prayers.
xx
Karen
