We had Bella’s pool out too Northerner, she had a lovely time in it. We also had my sisters puppy over for a play date today, so she was able to try out the new pool! It was so funny watching her paddle her feet as I held her in the water! Then when I put her in it she just walked around in it before jumping out and then rubbing herself against the towel and dog bed that were lying on the floor!
The funniest thing was each time a lay out a new towel so they both had somewhere to lie, Pebbles was straight over to the new towel! Then I realised, of course, she’s a German dog! She had to get the towel on the sunbed Bless Her!
I must admit I enjoyed paddling in the pool with them too, it was lovely! Plus more relaxing than going down to the coast with all the idiots that were pouring into Devon from all over the place! The thing is nothing is open! So where on earth are these people going to the loo? Or do they have the ability to hold it all day?!!

Boy is it hot here today in Swansea! I'm sitting in garden in pool of sweat after doing 6 garden pots ! I bought some plants in Wilkinson yesterday as it's quiet there unlike garden centre! 4 for £6. I've repotted my poinsettia plus the cutting I took off it a few months ago is starting to grow ! My hubby has hosepipe on cleaning patio after me! I wouldn't be adverse to him hosing me down as I'm procrastinating about showering !
It's a beautiful day here in East Devon and we have a lovely breeze off the sea. In my kitchen its19 deg by my thermometer but 22 deg on the radio controlled clock, and the kitchen is the coolest part of the house in the afternoon. . Don't know what the outside temp is in the garden - in full sun, but all I can tell you is it must be hot as Taffy Cat who adores sitting on the window seat in the lounge has found herself a nice shady place to sleep.
It did say last night that part of Wales was going to be one of the hottest place in UK today.
Enjoy the sun everyone, they say we're going to have rain over the weekend.
xx
You are all posh with your thermometers! I don't know temp until I get in my car in about 3 hours to go buy wine ! I'm going late for 3 reasons
1. shop quieter
2. Too much traffic as I live seaside and everyone enjoying fine weather !
3. I'll drink it now!
oh 4th reason ! I don't want to go outside for happy clappy! It's now pointless. Hospitals are quiet here, specially built hospital that cost millions is unused ! Everyone who has isolated, looked after family , friends, neighbours is a hero. All those still working, well done, all those who have lost jobs I'm truly sorry (so sorry I donate cash weekly to food bank which is inundated). In my thoughts are all those who have had medical treatment delayed. But last week we had an ambulance drive up our road to take applause as we near station. We also have a convoy of lorries driving past the hospital with horns blaring. So many it lasts about 20 minutes by my friends house. Once was nice , weekly no! So my neighbours may judge me for failing to appear but ......
