Hi all, tried to catch up but have probably missed a couple of pages! , sorry you've had the chest drain cancelled at the last minute, but true that any of us could be that emergency, which has to come first. Maddening though, especially as you have to be starved again, a midnight feast sounds like a good idea. I like this scooter......!!

Lovely LondonLass, I think you've got a pre op appointment tomorrow? Hope I haven't got it wrong, I find it hard going back on the thread but the 11th is in my mind. Wishing you....

Thanks for sending LP, LondonLass He was asleep in my bag, I thought, until I noticed people looking my way & smiling. He had found some cake, and was sitting on the back of my chair enjoying his feast. Said he liked being up there where he could see everything. 

He was definitely my good luck charm, because here I am, home from an appointment for the first time this year. Thank you LP. I just had to reward him with some treats afterwards. The granola bar was his favourite. He hovered up the pieces so quickly I was sure he'd have hiccups, but he assured me there wouldn't be a problem  and was there any more, please? He ate most of the bar and stuffed the rest in his pouches for later. I've promised to bring a bar for him  tomorrow.

Posted a long ramble Friday , which seems to have disappeared into the ether !

I was supposed to see oncologist last Friday after 2 weeks off chemo , but the clinic got overbooked and a dr was on annual leave ,so it became a bit of a saga on the phone , eventually got an appointment for tomorrow , with a dr I don’t know who is willing to look up my bloods and prescribe chemo ,which means I have had 4 extra days off chemo , which is beginning I got to scare me ........

my grandson in New Zealand is 3 tomorrow, I was handed him a few hours old and have not seen him since as I cannot now travel , but I talked and sung to him for his first 2 weeks and now when he hears my voice on Skype he says “ granny “. !

i hope none of you are badly affected by the weather , I got soaked today !!

Bowel screening results clear ..I did not like opening that letter ( no longer complacent ) 

whisper it ...but back starting to mend can move a bit more freely .

Just popping by to see if anyone else is awake. I drop off before the end of my film, then I wake up and switch it off and am then wide awake again !!! So got up, made a nice cup of tea, had a cheeky square of choccie (or two) and thought I'd call in to see if I am on my own ?
