AWAKE.........

I can imagine the sea hissing as each of the boiling menopausal ladies jump in! 

Does anyone have bad hot flushes between about 4 and 6 pm? It seems to happen every day for me and I can't work it out  - I always blame the fact that the weather seems to get more humid and sticky at that time. I don't take any tablets at that time that would cause it! 

Happy Bank Holiday Monday fruity loops  - keep cool out there... !

Oh that had me giggling this morning, LondonLass! 

But isn’t a tissue paper duvet rather noisy when you turn over? Me? Just an Ikea fleece (a real cheapie!) when I eventually manage to cool enough to want a cover!

just to let all you fruit loops know, I will have no phone signal/internet from Tuesday for almost a week.....

cake is baking, washing is on, I got up super-early to do stuff ready for our jaunt to celebrate our Golden Wedding (I thought hubs would bump me off long before this as I’m such a pain!) and it’s on Friday - we’ve rented a Landmark Trust house big enough for hubs and me and the entire family plus dogs, to save the kids from making any expensive decisions as to how to surprise us (we hope!) 

so after we are properly up a supermarket shop (oooh, lovely, a cool shop!) and then a bit of organising and packing, plus an after lunch nap in the heat of the day I guess as I was up so early!

Well it must be a week of celebrating! moomy can we save celebrating your amazing anniversary until tomorrow, as you won’t be online on Friday!

However today a little bird told me, it’s Mr and Mrs Optimistic’s Pearl Wedding Anniversary! CONGRATULATIONS to you both!

Have spent the last hour catching up on a few days worth of posts.(missed too many days to go back further)have been busy getting used to my new job,shifts,technology etc,all a struggle for an old fossil who hasn’t been in a ‘work’ environment for over 20 years. I can’t believe I haven’t made the effort to catch up with my fruit loops and promise to do better.
