.

  • She does sound pretty crap Helen (

, of course LP would love to go with you on 14th May

    BUT

I need to ask a favour of the Fruit Loops! Possibly ? Jenny is there any chance of you babysitting LP next week from Wednesday through to the following Tuesday? As you know I go away next week for a week in the country with Mum, Dad and Bella. I have decided to have a break from here for the week! If I can!!

Now obviously LP still wants to be able to help out when needed and when he’s not busy keeping others company he’s welcome to join me! But I would like to know that someone is able to look after him so he doesn’t let anyone down!

This will be the longest i’ve Ever been away from the site (if I last out) but I feel I need a complete break, a chance to concentrate on me and sort my own head out for a bit! I’ll still be in touch via phone (assuming I have signal) but not on here! Just for the week! Think you might all enjoy the peace and quiet!

Anyway that’s not till next week, right now I am wide awake with acid reflux again!! I’m starting to think it the days that I go to bed completely exhausted so end up going off into a deep sleep, then wake an hour or so later with that horrid burning in your throat Disappointed it really is horrid!!

Anyway must say Goodnight as I try and deal with this horrid reflux! Xxxxxx

Of course Sal, , LP is more than welcome to come and stay here, I am sure Bluebell will love a furry friend to get up to mischief with, and the grandkids will love him. I will try and be as efficient as you sending him to his appointments, he is so clever he will probably remind me.

I am sure you will benefit from your break, it is well needed after the last few weeks you have had. We will miss you but will keep the thread going.

Good luck to anyone who is having treatment or appointments today xxx

  • Thanks Jenny () I will be able to relax knowing LP is in safe hands! It’ll give me chance to sort out his surprise party on my return!

Well today I am heading out for a train ride down to Paignton for a day by the sea! My friend obviously dropped out, but that isn’t going to stop my mum and I having a good day! Although I am shattered so hopefully we will find lots of places to sit down and watch the world go by!

I hope everyone is doing as well as can be expected. As always sending Love and Hugs to you all.

    Have a Good Day xxxxxxxxx

Sal, How will we all cope!!??

    You are our rock.

We will struggle through until you get back.

Fully understand the need to have a break & some `me `time. It is good to have `normal` time as much as possible, then when you are ready you will feel stronger to cope again

.Enjoy, Love & hugs to you.

    Scilly xx

  • Hi , it’s not really about having a break from you all. It’s just a chance to enjoy my family and the views and fresh air! I’m sure i’ll Take a sneaky peek at some point, but I want to try and just have a chance to refresh and relax! Have my scan coming up on my return and so it’s always a stressful time! So time to enjoy a break away first!

I’m sure you will all cope! You’ll prob enjoy the peace and quiet! I won’t be gone time Wednesday afternoon so you have days of my moaning to put up with first Slight smile xxxx

Hi I think it’s a great idea for you to have a little break from the fruit loops.of course we’ll miss you but it will be a chance for you to put yourself first for once and you will come back stronger than ever.

i had a bit of a traumatic day yesterday.as some of you may remember I am in a choir at the Christie hospital which is made up of people with/had/work with/affected by cancer.anyway some of us met at a local garden centre yesterday for a coffee.we were having a lovely time chatting ten to the dozen when one of the ladies suddenly had a seizure.it was awful .a lovely nurse came to help and we all helped butnone of us knew if she had a history of fits or could even give the paramedics any details other than she has secondary breast cancer.anyway she eventually came round and I and another lady went to the hospital and stayed with her until her family could get there by which time she was feeling much better though bemused at what had happened as she said it hadn’t ever happened before.the doctors think it may be a new medication she has started.bl***y cancer.it just keeps on giving doesn’t it?!
