Haha Ruby Rose, don't you look Christmassy!!!!
I have a question, not cancer related (well, unless it caused it). On Friday morning I woke very early, and spent a few hours dry heaving. Not even stomach acid coming up. VERY rare for me to puke, like maybe 6 or 7 times in the last 20 years. I had been struggling with a headache, nausea and fuzzy vision for a few days. All very weird, no apparent cause. Until I noticed today that I was fine when I got up, but after a couple of hours at work was feeling pretty crap again. Which got me thinking, and looking for something in my work that might be an issue. Apart from being stressed by people that is.
Light bulb flashing moment!!!!
The more driving I do, the worse I feel.
So................... for the medical types on here.
NOx poisoning - is it a possibility?
Guess I will be cold tomorrow - I have a long way to go and will be going with the window open.
I guess maybe work really can make you ill. Literally!!
Karen
toxophilite, that sounds like a very definite possibility. Could you take your van in to be checked? Also I believe you can get portable Carbon Monoxide Alarms! Maybe it would be worth getting one.....just in case! The fact you have noticed it gets worse the longer you drive, I would say is a definite warning sign and not worth taking a chance!
Also you know you have been vaping instead of smoking? Could this be connected? I dont know enough about it, but just thinking aloud!
I hope you get it sorted soon. If all else fails, maybe worth a blood test? That should be able to rule a few things out!!
(((((((Big Hugs))))) xxxxx
Hi Toxophilite,
aak about the exhaust too, as leaking fumes can cause problems even if there’s no obvious problem?
hope you get it sorted!
hugs xxx
Moomy
Hi toxophilite
I would also recommend getting a blood test as this will show carbon monoxide poisoning. I would get an emergency appointment .
Take care
Love
Ruby Rose
Ooo ....that cheered me to see I had cheered your day and also, loving the fab T shirt!!More people should dress up,I say!!I may take a placard to Number 10!,
and toxophilite....I agree that you should go to your GP poste haste ....
I do hope all ok....xxx
Unlikely to be CO, as it's a diesel. But NOx - yikes.
Will have the van tested Wed, then try to find a gap to go to GP.
Thanks for the input - good to know I'm not going any more nuts than I already was.........................
Karen
Hope you get sorted quickly toxophilite, take care x
