Hi Sal,
Been awakes since 1.30! Steroids kicked in, at least 2 nights good sleep is not bad.
What is there to do in the night, TV, reading? cannot concentrate.
No-one to phone.
Having a hot milk with malt in, see if that works.Night night hopefully
SCilly x
Hope you managed to get to sleep . But at least you had two good nights, that’s something to be grateful for! Sending you.......
Hope today is a good day for you, Sal xxx
Thanks Sal,
Went back to sleep at 5am.
Going out so up at 8. seems to take ages to get ready these days, main thing is trying to hide the bags & dark circles under my eyes!!
Hugs & a good day back for you.

Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Thank you LondonLass, just getting ready to go. LP is asleep bless him xxx

Good luck today seaspirit44 - not sure it was wise to let LP have a morning nap - he'll be extra lively now!
Hugs to everyone else with appointments today. I looked at the calendar the other day and thought 'yay, I've got no appointments this week'. Comes to something when you don't count bloods and chemo as appointments any more!
I went to the opticians again last week as vision is still deteriorating with this chemo - MORE glasses! I've now got it down to a fine art at £39 a time - take in old frames and let them put the most basic single vision lenses in them. Given the fact that they're only lasting 6 weeks at the moment, I'm certainly not investing £100s in new varifocals! Luckily, they can still improve my vision enough with lenses that I can still get to 20/20, but at this rate, it won't be long before they have to refer me for the steroid-induced cataracts to be done. i would NOT be happy if I get to the stage of not being able to drive - that's my independence!!!!
What I need is a pair of those very flattering glasses that the opticians use to assess your vision, then we could just fit the new lenses in to those when needed!!!
I think I could carry them off!!!
Happy Monday everyone
