Lovely sunny day at the waterpark yesterday, tho cold. The last few times I have been, sitting outside the cafe bird watching, I have been eaten alive by very small flies. So yesterday I used insect repellant which seems to have worked. Ridiculous t this time of year! xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hello to new members and I'm sorry you're having to endure such awful side effects.
Nice to see dear Violetsniff popping on and here is Ted the rabbit and myself this morning. He is naughty for chewing my dressing gown.
He sends rabbit love to everyone xxx
Snowys Mum has Ted grown?I don’t seem to remember him being that big?
Hope everyone is as well as possible this evening? Think I might have picked up a cold, got a bit of a sore throat and headache….ah well, perhaps a good long rest will help.
Night night Fruit Loops, sleep well and stay safe, plenty of sleepy fairy dust for all who wish
hugs xxx
Moomy
Good morning....I hope you are all asleep. It looks quiet.
Wet and cold here. I have lit the fire ( granules are amazing. Just press a button!)
Mumofthree ....I hope you are starting to feel better. Having suffered myself with severe sickness, I can understand exactly how awful you feel. I had the faintness too and needed to lie on the cold floor on several occasions to prevent losing consciousness.
Discuss changes of meds with medical staff but unfortunately some people ( not many) just react badly and no pill helps. I had top of the range...very expensive....but I was too sick to swallow them. Only an injection helped and being an hour from hospital....not very practical. I don't often discuss this because very few people are going to react like this and will worry unnecessarily but it's important to realise that if you do, it isn't anything you are doing wrong. You're not making a fuss and you mustn't feel guilty if pills don't work. But don't give up on the treatment. I just prepared myself for several very sick days and stayed in bed. Actually I was sick if my moved my head.....but that was severe...At the end of it...18 weeks will pass ....and now eight years on I have no cancer. I think what I am trying to say very badly is that yes, ofcourse try anything offered to you and hopefully these will work but it is possible there won't be a magic med and in that case, you might have to suffer a bit more than others but you are strong and it should be worth it in the end. I will be thinking of you. Let us know how things proceed.
moomy ..hope the rest has fought off the cold. If not stay in the warm and indulge yourself with a good film.
Now, I have a floor to wash before there are bodies to walk on it.
Love to all. Take care if you have snow or ice.
Just had a catch up as I haven't been on here much lately. Just life!
Welcome to new members. Hope those suffering sickness etc. get help to improve situation. Hope scan is ok LondonLass . Loving all the photos and videos.
I've been organising my own 60th birthday lunch as I hate being centre of attention and terrified of surprise party so just close family & friends in private room at restaurant for lunch. 26 of us in total including children.
I'm still sewing, making a dress which is awful but I'm learning how to put in pockets, how to do tailor tacks, cut out a pattern etc.
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
