Happy to report that first radiotherapy session was ok. Very anxious before as left early as hard to judge traffic and parking and then get booked in to find they running 45 mins late. Next time I must take a book. Lots of faffing to get me in right place, annoying red lights to watch me breathing so shut eyes, room not too cold. Love the way the male staff try and be respectful and cover me wit big sheet of what is like toilet paper that moves so just gave up. He did say that although they tell you what its like until you've done it yourself, it is hard. I'm turning into a worrier now but one down, 14 to go. What a fun bank hol this Aug - getting my boob nuked x
Hi Judith/, the nurses are hopefully going to sort out some pads for us, sadly he still needs to clean himself which he finds difficult. It was bad while he was on iron tablets but he’s taken himself off them, I suspect my insistence he has some vegetables has had an effect too! It’s a tricky balance!
He’s lying down at present……he’s been very sleepy a good part of the day again.
Hugs xxx

No you're not. You're a warrior not a worrier, as they say in the trade. Well done. Make sure you moisturise well twice a day.
Tired Minion well done on completing your 1st radiotherapy, and good luck for the rest. It's not too bad, I remember mine as a strange episode in life, I had volunteer drivers and they were really nice and I got free coffees. Bless you it will soon be over xxx
moomy ouch...poor back and coping with incontinence in the middle of the night yikes
Hope the pain eases off and you get all the gear...pads etc. If you get a form to fill in just put ticks all over, thats what we do at work. You can't count every wee xxx. Hope you have a watertight night xxxx
he looks a lovely lad. Looking at beautiful photos was a good way to pass the day
Here is Norman one of my piggy's xx
Awwww, bless you Snowys Mum, we’ve done the forms and it was crazy, measuring it all! I hope they can sort out some better pads than we buy at present, just not good enough for ‘the other’, as his spinal stenosis means he doesn’t always get warning. (Sorry, ladies, tmi!)
Norman is cute….

Well done tired minion! Hopefully you’ll get into a routine now and it’ll be easier going forward. How’re you feeling now too? How’re you feeling now londonlass?
I hope you’re night was less eventful Moomy and your back is easing a bit, you are the ultimate trooper, you deal with so much, with such aplomb and while you’re in pain, I really hope you’re not as exhausted as I would be.
