Thank you london las for lucky pants wow well its been hetic week tbh and not one best weeks well sknce last wednrsdsy in fact all started as you all now i was sent by ny oncologist to have a x ray regarding my fractured hip, but i then got telephone call to der the orphapedic suregon. So last Friday k had a MRI scan as well as this xray. So i saw suregon but fortunately i don't need hkp replacement on tight hip but mentioned about pain in left leg so of he sent mr. To xray to get a xray on left leg this time and come back.  So all my scans shows lotd of cancer my bones riddled with it. However regarding my left leg he has spotted a line on my knee and he is unsure if thats cancer or fracture and so i need another scan. Anyway that night i had shooting pains all down my left leg was in tears of agony k eventually got pain under control.  Anyway next day get telephone call ssying when can i come in and i have an MRI so hsd it that day. I'm not sure if its tumour flare or densunaub side effects but woke up wednesdsy morning quarter past seven and left hand side lower back was in absolute agony tender to touch snd could barely walk=(  so noy been hsving much luck latelt fortunate for me ny macmillan nurse was ringing and she part of palative care team at this point i hsd increased slow release morphine to 30mg on a night. So decided to inxrease pre gablin to 250mg morning and night. So im not sure if everything caught up on me orwas side effrcfs of pre gablin 250mg butngot uo yesterday had all. Medications pottered aroumd bit and just went sit in bed snyonr who knows me knows that i have strift morning routine meds breakfast brish teeth skincare and i dl my make up anyway i fell asleep without doing any of those and diddnt get up till 20 past two, hsve to sdmit must needrd it felt lot better for it after what's been going on plus my anxiety and depression sure hsve taken a battering i best get some more sleeps and maybe in fee hours work out this nrw forum xxxx¥

.....I know I can't stop the pain but perhaps knowing that I'm thinking of you from many miles away might help a bit. I can really sympathise about the pain in your leg. Mine is not as serious as yours but was caused by decompression on the spine. However, even with 500g a day of pentagabaline, I have pain all day so I can understand how debilitating it is for you.

i hope the massive amount of sleepy fairy dust has helped you all during the site ‘down time’ and you’ve had some decent-ish nights? I didn’t post again last night, I had got very irritated by the so called improved site!

we had the fire pit going in the garden and the evening was so peaceful that we just sat out till way past 10, then realised we had to be up fairly early to move cars as the handyman is due to finish painting which hubs now can’t do (his back problems mean he really shouldn’t stand for more than a couple of minutes) so it was a case of leaving the embers to die down and get to bed!

Today being a hot one (forecast 32+) I've left curtains pulled to a bit on the sunny side (front this morning, back this afternoon!) in the faint hope that by night time the house won’t be too hot!

I sent a long post to LondonLass kast night, all about LP’s antics at my podiatry appt and it has vanished Grrrrr so fedup with this site 

Me too, have been sticking with it and trying to understand it but I did sneak across to the Facebook page and popped in a comment or two! 

It’s clumsy on the phone (Scrolling past interminable titles etc) but my laptop just will not get a log in page at all!

AAAaaaarrrrrrggggghhhhh as WhatHappened might say. What a performance to get on this site. And it takes you to the first post, and I can't get it to work on my phone at all. Just says you need to be a member, click to join and then takes you back to the coffee morning thing.

Well I had a lovely time on my Cheshire mini break staying in a bed and breakfast Stable like two old donkeys, and I wish I could post a couple of pics, but they are on the phone!!!

Feel so sorry for new people probably so upset and needing help and this site is impossible

I totally agree, there doesn't seem to be any posts from new people since the start of this new /redesign community forum. 

I know this Group was a God send to me when first diagnosed - you Fruit Loops got me through it and for this I'm forever grateful and the very reason I stay around.... to pay it forward when I'm able to xxx

Hi Fruit Loops, I have justt replied to a lady on "Welcome to the community team " LisaCardiff . On this "strange"site now, didn't know how was best to direct her to other threads . Hope some of you will be able to help her further.I spent the last hour or so trying to get signed in again after being dumped -"no internet connection" and "password incorrect " If I wasn't so stubborn I would have given up.Feel so sorry for the newbies who need help and support as soon as possible Fingers crossed the techies get their act together very soon !!
