I know that the Welsh have some odd names but where/what is Barrybados?
Hi peeps,
Been absent due to doing night duty. seaspirit44 completely agree about these nurses who have been on a course and now think they know everything . Jumped up nobodies make my blood boil. We have student nurses on placement at our place and some are utterly hopeless and then you get the odd diamond shining out. I was showing this girl how to do dressings and she said the Masters in Nursing she was doing had cost her £60,000 in student loans. She was one of the diamonds, I promise to encourage those and discourage the jumped up nobodies x Xxx
your friend will have a care plan for palliative care and prescription for end of life meds which could be given subcutaneously to stop the nausea and vomiting. Try the district /community nurses there will be a number to ring day or night. It's their job to look after your friend and I hope she has got some help by now.
Going to stuff my face and then go unconscious for 8 hours.
Love you all millions nite nite xxx
Love your posts Snowys Mum, so down to earth, full of good advice with funnies. Sleep well xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
,
About 20-25 miles away, towards Porth.
, Barrybados is the seaside town of Barry, where Gavin and Stacey is filmed.

He he
i think Barrybados would be the welsh humour for the lovely seaside town of Barry . When visiting our son in Cardiff we went to Barry , I think it was once the home of a big Butlins holiday camp . Still has the feel of an old fashioned holiday resort and I’m sure it will make a comeback . Huge beach and they have a funfair . We had our photos taken in the huge deck chairs - its a must ! Taken in the carefree days before “BC”. I now have pure white hair !!!
love Ruby Rose
Love the name Barrybados! I went to Barry Island when I was 6. It must have made a great impression on me as I still remember every detail. Really enjoyed the day out xxx

As a child I had my annual day out to Barry Butlins. Raised as one of4 children money was tight but I dreamt of spending a week at Barry Butlins. Then in 2015 while off sick during treatment for BC my hubby had a mission that we did a day out every other day. One of those days was to Barry and I loved it!
