Well Galligirl, all I can say is I hope they were the only 'nuts' that fell out of LP's Pants
Hes now asleep by the fire with a very full tummy! Oh and I apologise for the buzzer, it's what SANTA PAWS brought him for Christmas!
Hope he behaves better tomorrow!! Wouldn't want a flat LP at wombat.23's mammogram or even worse him to chew through any equipment at Optimistic's Appointment!! Will have to give him a good talking too before tomorrow!! Xx
even more LondonLass !
Busy week. Monday, appt with homeopathic doc, Tues dexa scan where I was treated in a very patronising manner, Weds counselling, not seen her for 6 weeks so well overdue. Weds pm rehearsal, first after Xmas hols, really good, and today GP,appt. also, having Windows replaced so,house is in chaos.
Please could I have LP next Thurs as I have an MRI of my foot for a ??? osteoporotic stress fracture. Hate MRIs, having to keep, still, the noise and wanting to go to the loo, half way through, will need distraction! Won't know if I have osteoporosis for 4 weeks. Hey ho, will, keep on as normal till I know one way or the other.
Love to all xxxx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Hi ...so glad yyour rehearsal went went and you were able to see your Counseller....Some nice things in between all those appointments!
I do hope your MRI doesn’t show up an osteoporotic fracture.and such a loooong time to wait to find out!!I am just wondering what you can do to beguile the time while you have it....
Yes I seem to remember you sang to your Surgeon, was it??
I think that is an excellent idea !!!xxxx
and LondonLass....am loving LP’s little escapades!!
he is such a card!!!xx
seaspirit44, as LP's official PA I can confirm he is more than happy to join you next week for an MRI. In fact he loves that machine. He's even got a little pair of ear plugs to block out the noise........of course it also means he can't hear you if you are telling him not to do something!! So Beware!!
I have been signed off work for 3wks and need to call the imaging department on Tuesday to arrange a time to go in for an X-ray!
Had a good chat with my GP and her feeling is now might be a perfect time to resign and look after myself for a bit and look at things again in 3-6months! My nurse, who DID have the Zoladex also agreed. Her opinion was life is too short to stress yourself out and infact she said resign now and I'd only need to work one weeks notice when I go back! But that doesn't feel right! Yes I know I need to think about me, but even if I went back for a month I would if it helped. However if I found they had put her in full time nursery and it was working for them I might suggest they just leave her there as that would be less confusing for her.
I don't know what it is, old habits, my caring side, the fact I'm a mug, take your pick. But I still have that niggly feeling that I should just push myself to do the 2 days! But it's going to be a lot of work and if my knees don't improve its a lot of stairs!
Well time to try and sleep. But just want to say Galligirl..........
On FINISHING CHEMO! Hope the side effects are kind to you! But remember it's the last time you'll feel like this and everyday is a step closer to feeling better!
Lots of love to all you amazing Fruit Loops xxxxxx
Violetsniff, I sang during the pelvic MRI in 2017, and was firmly told off for moving! I'll try to meditate but the noise is a bit off putting--I'm not very skilled and out of practice, Need a smack on the hand for not doing it! Xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
Thank you LondonLass, I shall have to keep a close eye on LP, which will take my mind off the noise and trying to keep still. Look after yourself xx
Onwards and flatwards (don't do hills) and keep walking if you can!
LondonLass. Glad that you have got a chance to catch up on rest during the 3 weeks break.
Judith xx
