My mum has had breast cancer 3 times over the last few years, and unfortunately, they've now found a lesion in her brain that they think has travelled from her breast.
They are looking into the option of surgery or stereotactic radiotherapy, but have said they aren't treating to cure.
Has anyone else had experience of this situation? How long mum has of course depends on how she responds to treatment, but I'm just hoping to hear some people's experiences of this kind of radiotherapy, and how effective it could be. I've heard some people can live with a brain tumour for years so staying hopeful.
