HI eddiel
A warm welcome to the community
As long as your dr hasn't advised you not to drive and they are not using a sedative as part of the MRI then you should be fine to drive home.
Here's some general info around MRI scans MRI scan | Macmillan Cancer Support
The contrast dye will feel odd and make you feel as if you've had a wee.
If you are anxious about having the scan it might be an idea to have a friend or partner along for moral support.
Hope it all goes smoothly.
Sending love and light and hugs

Thank you Wee Me, no anxiety, many scans with contrast and no issues, thanks for the warm welcome though not new, this is forum 13, maybe i should say 12+1, we are hoping MRI is precautionary, Consultant pretty confident it's not cancerous and wouldn't have sent me for the MRI if i never had cancer in 9 other places, thank you again and happy Easter, take care.
