Bit of back ground.. my wife was diagnosed with stage 4 glioblastoma in December after a tumor was removed on her left frontal lobe. She is doing really well pretty much running the house again and I'm back at work. She smashed the first round of intensive radio and chemo and is currently jiw on a higher dose of chemo 5 days on 23 off. Shes smashing it and I am so proud. Today after a check up the oncology team told us there is a good chance my wife doesn't have GBM and may be PXA instead as the intensive testing they have done nationally cannot find the GBM mutation. We also got told that there has been no regrowth which is the best news at this stage. All the best to everyone
HI Berto
a warm welcome to the group. Thanks for sharing your story with us. I sincerely hope that the tests are correct and that its PXA instead of GBM.
I supported my late husband through the three years of his GBM journey so I can relate to the journey you've been on so far.
No regrowth is great news. Long may that continue.
love n hugs
