Sunday (24/3) is exactly 12 months since surgery for an adenocarcinoma which had grown in my occipital lobe, which for those that don't know is the part of the brain that processes visual information. My primary was bowel cancer and the NHS has been taking bits of me out for 6 years, but as the title says I'm still sanding.
It's been an interesting year with the drugs, chemotherapy and radiotherapy, as all the bad stuff is in the past I choose to only remember the positives and the fantastic people I have met on my journey so far,
Life is nearly back to normal or as normal as it will ever be for me.
HI
thanks for sharing.
I wholeheartedly agree- focus on the positives. We should all be more like sunflowers- turn our faces to the sun and let the shadows fall behind,
love n hugs
Wee Me xx
