MIL was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer in October, her decline has been rapid - she sleeps most of the day and seems to be up all night. She is confused 95% of the time and the deterioration seems quite rapid. I spoke to macmillan support tonight and they advised this could be the last few days but we need to get this confirmed tomorrow. Everything I read says the last days is sleeping all the time - has anyone had any different experiences ?
Hi Sng
so sorry to hear about your MIL.
I hope you've managed to get some clarity from her team today.
Personally, my understanding was that folk sleep a lot towards the end stages but I guess everyone is different.
