I was diagnosed with bowel cancer over a year ago, not been an easy journey, because of all the problems and changing surgeon because one wouldn't operate, the cancer has now spread to the liver, my new surgeon said it is too big to operate at my hospital and sent me to a specialist hospital to see what can be done,I was told the operation would be 10 hours but wanted to fit a stoma bag first, I'd have had a course of radium treatment last year made me incontinent, I've just recently had my stoma bag fitted had another problem I was in hospital a while, I'm home now being free of the mess is great managing the stoma fine,but I have this awful urge in my bottom that something wants to come out I was told it was natural for this, but it's stopping me from doing anything I hold my bottom when walking and feel it constantly wondered if anyone is experiencing this and any suggestions on what might help,not able to sit feel it all the time this journey hasn't been a good one people say I am positive and getting on with it, I don't feel like I am doing well but trying
