I’m new to these groups and my first time posting ,I have stage 4 bowel cancer I was diagnosed about 3 years ago ,I’ve had lutaphera treatment and now I have octreotide every 4 weeks ,I’m 52 and previously about 13 years ago had breast cancer ,
my bowel cancer unfortunately cannot be operated on as connected to a major vein at the moment with the octreotide I feel quite well and I find it hard to believe I have this awful thing
I’m always feeling full so never know really when I’m hungry,so I end up snacking whoops I do try to eat sensible but can be difficult with too many temptations in the way
I’d love to hear others with same or similar diognosis as myself x
Hi Caz1973
I don’t have your cancer but I do live with metastatic breast cancer. It’s a horrible situation to be in, especially when treatment options are limited.
we have a lively community of people with stage 4 cancers of various types on the Living with incurable cancer forum - patients only It would be great if you could join us there.
