I've come here to meet others who may be in a similar boat to myself and can hopefully stop me worrying so much..Since January this year when I had a positive fit test of 65, I've had CT colonoscopy which showed two polyps in my rectum, followed by a flexible sigmoidoscopy during which one was successfully removed by EMR. Unfortunately the second one was not able to be removed by this method as 12mm, cessile and on a fold. It has also invaded the wall of the rectum so I am booked in for an ESD to remove it. I have been googling a fair bit as I like to learn about any procedures I have. Now I cant stop worrying that this one polyp is cancerous especially as I've not been feeling very well for a few months. The doctor who performed the last removal didnt seem too concerned that he couldnt remove this one and there was no mention of anything looking suspicious. He probably would have told me if there was? Any advice gratefully received. Thank you.
