Not sure if that's the correct term but some of my bowel is going on Thursday and I'll have a temporary stoma. It's all a bit scary. I want to thank Nevermind for his post about his stoma reversal. It gave me hope up even though I know it's months away.
Hi Dollyvera Just wanted to wish you all the best for Thursday. It sounds like you’re having a Low Anterior Resection with temporary stoma? I’ve attached a link to a booklet which has some info about the op and also a list of things to remember to pack!

Hope all goes well and please keep us posted

Hi Dollyvera,
I had the same September last year and a reversal in December. My advice is take it steady afterwards it will take time but small steps make a big difference.
The Colo recral support group if your local Maggies has one is a really good place to get honest and frank answers when you feel able to attend, they have given me great support
Good luck.
