Hi there, New to this forum.
My mum was recently diagnosed with bowel cancer and after having emergency surgery to try and remove said nasty, it appears it has grown very quickly and stuck so it cannot be removed. It has also spread to her liver but thankfully not to her lungs.
She now has a stoma after they performed a Ileostomy but we saw the oncologist on Thursday who have said it's advanced and not curable but they wil be doing chemo to try and help. Obviously I'm quite distraught about it all (having losty dad to Pseudomyxoma peritonei 9 years ago) and just wondered if anyone can share their experiences.
I am struggling to talk to my husband about it as I just upset all of the time but thought this might help.
Thanks
H
