Bowel cancer treatments no totally successful

My 48 year old son was diagnosed with Rectal cancer in June 2024.  He was very fit and healthy with NO symptoms.  He has had chemo and radio therapy treatments which he tolerated well,  but a spread to the liver prevented moving forward with stoma and primary tumour removal surgery.  Having had a liver op to ‘burn’ off the tumours and waiting for the liver to heal before scans, we were expecting good results last week. However, further spread to the lungs, stomach  and more cells in the liver was a devastating outcome.

The Consultants are concentrating on another round of chemo, starting next week, before attacking the primary tumour again, although the  ew chemo regime will obviously keep it in check whilst hopefully killing of the stray cells in the other organs.

Time is of the essence with aggressive cancers and have looked at alternative therapies which, Invermectin and Fenbendazole which although they are not main stream human medicines, it seems they can be taken running along side chemo and radiation treatments.

Does anyone have any experience, fear and apprehension are obvious obstacles and reading about wonderful success stories from unknown people is NOT as good as a personal story.

Thank you,
