Apparently my blood test is showing slightly elevated folate levels, but I'm not going to Google it.

  • intriguing...I am wondering why you would not Google and dyor?...and what are you wanting from posting this here?

  • Because I suffer with OCD and health anxiety and I'm not supposed to Google things.

  • oh that's a tricky place to be in.

I can only sympathise with what health anxiety would be like and having to contain my own anxieties during this cancer/ preventative chemo journey. good luck

  • Hi. Folate levels can fluctuate from diet. Folate deficiency, when it drops to a persistently low level, can be mitigated by folic acid daily for a few months. I'd guess a slight raise however is nothing to worry about and you can always get it checked again in your next routine bloods if it helps reassure you.
