I am 64 years old and live in Eastbourne.
I am waiting to go in for a triple heart bypass surgery CABG.
However, I have developed iron deficiency anemia and have 11 blood transfusion and 5 iron infusion in the past year.
Apparently the anaesthetist has said that the surgery cannot go ahead until the blood levels are stable.
So far, I have had three colonoscopy, two endoscopy, a colonography and a MRI scan. Old ulcers and polyps have been discovered. I have not had the results of the scan yet but I have received a result on the FIT test of 371.
I have to see the gastrology surgeon later this month.
Can anyone help me regards meaning of ,371 on the FIT test.
Thanks in advance.
