Hi Rugbywoman and a warm welcome to the board. I see from your other posts that your husband is starting chemo tomorrow? Do you know which one and we can maybe share some advice/reassurance with you?

 Rugbywoman Yes that’s the usual one. We have a post of top tips if you’d like to have a read? Its hard to predict which side effects he’ll get but the cold touch syndrome is a common one so make sure he’s wrapped up to the eyeballs and wearing gloves when leaving the unit

I had socks on door handles at home 

gloves by the fridge

drank ginger tea for nausea and sensitive mouth

im sure there’s more and I’ll let you know when I remember 

most importantly remember this is not forever the treatment worked for me so keep strong and positive

Hi and welcome Rugbywoman, I also started CAPOX today, my leg is tingling and my throat feels a little dry/scratchy but I don’t seem to have any other symptoms at present. 

I hope your husband’s chemo went well and he’s not suffering from too many symptoms.
