Hi, I've had surgery to remove a cancerous mass and due to start chemo next week. Anyone got any positive tips, please.
Hi JEL and a warm welcome to the bowel page. I’m not sure which chemo you’re having but I’ve attached a link to a post that we did about Capox/xelox side effects?
Chemo can be tough but doable. It’s worth keeping a diary of any side effects then you can mention them to the nurses - there’s lots of pills and creams to remedy any problems so don’t be afraid to speak up if you’re struggling. Cmck has just posted that they are due to start chemo so perhaps you 2 could buddy up?
Take care
