Hello. I am a 48 yr old female who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in July and had a bowel section at the end of August.
it’s been 3 weeks since my surgery and I have pain in my groin area. Just below where you would have a c-section. A but like period pain. I can also feel two lumps which I assume is the resection bowel. Is this familiar to anyone?
I have yet to get results back from Drs to confirm that cancer is gone or if further treatment is needed.
Hi Angelous
I wanted to just say hello , others will be along that have had similar.
I had a LAR with stoma ( Ileostomy) so I’m sorry I haven’t got lots of experience with your operation
I have a c section scar plus key hole marks in various places. Oh and a small camera scar in my naval for the camera There’s others but that’s enough for now I was on heavy duty pain relief Tramadol slow release which my GP sorted and I found it really belt for my rest and moving about
I hope that you have pain meds to control your pain. If you’re concerned about the pain please phone your colorectal nurses they will help with that
Take care
Ann
