Hi all.
Just looking for advice.
After the 3rd treatment of folfox my left foot has been slowly playing up.
I now have crutches to walk and today it has decided to 'give up' resulting on kicking out and slapping foot when I walk. Its over the top of foot which today is preventing me from even bending it. No pins n needles.
Has anyone else had this?
Hi Kiwi50.
I had different chemo but did lose feeling in feet and at times hands too, impacting limb movement, balance and mobility.
Your oncologist should review your treatment plan to reduce risks of long term side effects if they feel it is neuropathy based.
My GP also referred me to physio which has been really helpful.
Hi Kiwi50
My mum did have this straight after her infusion but I would definitely phone your team as they might want to make sure that’s nothing else needs looking at .
Do you have a contact number ?
If not I would try your GP .
Oxaliplatin is a derivative of a nerve agent but they would want to know about this .
take care ,

Glad you got guidance so quickly.
Did they also offer you any physio and nerve stimulation (such as a TENS device) to help recovery?
