I had a CT scan last week and the colonretal nurse at the hospital told me over the phone on Friday last week and she was able to give me results, which cam back with 'no deposits'. I'm not sure if she was supposed to tell me or are they allowed to?
This is my 3rd week and although I am trying to stay present and calm, but not really being able to stay calm and not panic.
Thank you to all those who have sent messages of encouragement.
Excellent news. Just what you needed to hear .
I think it varies . Some consultants like to do that in person and give the person an opportunity to chat through concerns others seem happy for other staff to do this part .Seems to vary from clinic to clinic . In the past it would definitely not have happened but more so that’s what we see on the boards .
Take care ,

That’s great news TreeHugger29 . I think they appreciate how worried and stressed people are waiting for results so happy for the support team to pass that sort of news on. Presumably you’ll get an appointment now to discuss the treatment plan?
Take care and keep posting
