Hello all, my aunty has severe lupus and quite by accident they have discovered bowel cancer that has spread to the liver. Just waiting on results of the liver scan before a treatment plan can be put in place. Sounds like she has had the bowel for a year or more but put the symptoms down to her lupus. Will be reading with interest and likely asking questions when I know more
Hi @Wolfiewasere and a warm welcome to the board. I’m sorry to hear about your aunts diagnosis on top of her lupus but bowel cancer is notoriously slow growing and there is a lot of treatment available. Hopefully your aunt will get a treatment plan in place soon.
In the meantime stay away from google. You can read lots of previous posts on here and search for a particular key word by typing it in the search box at the top of the page. We’re all at different stages of treatment or recovery and happy to share advice so ask away - nothing too daft or embarrassing on here!
Take care
