Hi SteveC67 and a warm welcome to the board. The waiting for scan results and treatment start dates is very stressful but once there is a plan in place then things will feel a bit better. Stay away from google - it can be scary and out of date - you can ask anything you like on here - there’s nothing too daft or embarrassing!

There’s lots of posts on here from people at all stages of treatment and recovery which you can read and, if you click on their names, then their profile page may show their history. 
Once you know what chemo you’ll be having then we’ll be able to give you some links about what to expect - everyone has their own experience regarding chemo and the side effects but it’s all towards the op and getting rid of the tumour.

The next few months will be tough but we’re here to help and support you through this

Hi, I’m pretty new too and as Karen said there’s lots of support here and good information 

I had to wait 12 weeks for op and now waiting to hear about possible chemo… time goes so quickly though.
