Hi all, I have been lurking and reading for a few weeks - I was diagnosed with bowel cancer in May that has spread to my liver. I start chemo in a few weeks. I’m absolutely terrified as my oncologist has said it’s not curable but I have had a section of my bowel removed and a stoma.
Welcome to the forum Mellyville . Hearing it’s not curable is difficult but you can click on my user name to read how the managed my mum’s spread . Treating it like a chronic condition took a while for my mum to get her head around the concept and she has hit a few bumps along the way .
Glad you have your primary tumour removed and hope this next step in treatment goes smoothly and results in good shrinkage .
So glad you decided to join the forum . There are a few people managing a spread to the liver just now and would be great for you to connect with each other .
Take care ,
Court
