Thank you for accepting me. It is great to be part of the MacMillan support group. If you would like to know a bit more about me, please click on my bio where you will find my journey ….. and what a journey it’s been.
Mt Colonoscopy beginning of Feb was clean and I thought I’ve got it. But Billy the Bum and his cousins decided they needed to be squatters and take their residence in my liver.
I am currently 2 weeks post my second liver resection where all but 1 section had tumours.
Currently I am waiting to hear from my Oncologist to discuss a new regime of Chemo.
To all of you, be kind to yourself, this is a crap journey we are all on, but I found trying to stay positive helps. I know it is not always possible and the black hole of doubt is always there.
Have a great day!
Dorethea xx

Thank you very much Court. I have been warned that there might be more surgery, but I take it on step at a time. I focus on the good, but also allow myself to be sad, scared and sometimes just grumpy. I am a strong believer that if a door closes a window opens. I’m stronger than cancer!
Whatever cancer throws your way, we’re right there with you.
We’re here to provide physical, financial and emotional support.
