Hello everyone, I'm new today and am having a lot of trouble since having chemo/radiotherpy for anal cancer. My treatment finished on 2nd January, but things aren't getting any better. I was told by every radiotherapist ad nauseam that the pain would peak in two weeks and I'd start getting better after that. Here we are three months on and things are pretty bad, I'm in a great deal of pain 24/7 and using morphine just blocks me up. I've had impaction (unbelievable agony) and now my anus is sore all the time Aching, burning stinging 24/7. Is there anyone out there with the same problems please? The OAU is useless, never giving any answers as to how to deal with this and I've started having panic attacks and high anxiety, for which I'm being treated, but no answer as to why I'm in such pain in the actual bum itself all the time. I'd like to hear from anyone with the same problem Thankyou.
