Hello all
Not sure if am in the right group as i have a rare one G I S T had 40cm of perferated tumour in total part from my lower intestine and part of my colon. My bowel is left in got a new one fitted to my outside called Keir Stoma (on a bag its not so bad) might not bother having old bowel back unless there a medical reason .. just playing at waiting for a referal to the christie...keep strong all and try to laugh every day.....

I wanted to say hello I had rectal cancer so we were different operations though as you can see by my avatar I had an Ileostomy a joined the stoma support group. They’re a great group full of tips and advice. I’ve popped the link up for you Ileostomy, colostomy and stoma support
