I am 75 year old usually active retired sheep farmer and dog owner breeder I now have terminal stage four bowel cancer and am having palliative treatment.
Welcome
You sound a very interesting person indeed. So sorry to hear about your diagnosis . If you click on my user name you can read my mum’s story with a stage 4 diagnosis. She has had another recurrence recently but she is waiting till the new year to consider further her options .
Have you got your treatment plan in place?
Getting a bit of support as nd seeing how others navigate treatment can be very helpful .
Oncology has come on quite a bit since my mum was first diagnosed. Despite being under the palliative umbrella for 13 years she has managed to do quite a bit and keep connected to the things she enjoys although having to be more flexible around treatment .
Take care ,
