I had my positive FIT test in July , colonoscopy end of July, 60mm polyp found surgeon said would require surgery for removal. Had biopsies taken , took 5 weeks to hear back, CT scan then MRI scan of liver. October 2nd colonoscopy done was told they were removing lump, i was surprised as i wasn’t told they were going to do this . Halfway through the surgeon said it was too big and needed surgery and he didn’t like the look of it, also procedure was extremely painful. Two weeks ago had phone call to say they found cancer,, stage 2, appointment yesterday with consultation to discuss surgery. Surgery not till December. Does this time scale sound normal or not Many Thanks
I can only emphasise with your situation, I think it may vary from redoing to region and where the surgery is taking place, from my experience I have been dealt with extremely promptly from start and hopefully to full recovery ️ I think that once diagnosed they try to have you operated on as soon as possible but there maybe different experiences on the forum! Good luck to you
