Hi new to the group
was diagnosis with rectal cancer last year had surgery in June following chemotherapy tablets and radiotherapy this year ending with a permanent colostomy now having 3 sessions of infusion and chemotherapy tablets will be on my last session next Wednesday but I am having a rough time with the infusion and it is upsetting my colostomy finding it difficult to eat and drink which I need to do to take the chemotherapy tablets does anyone had any advice to help me through my last session.

i wanted to say hello. I also had rectal cancer however my treatment was different. There’s others here that have had the same and will be along soon
I hope things improve soon the stoma support group here have lots of advice so they may be worth joining
