Hi,
My name is Sharon and I’ve just recently been diagnosed with a Primary Mucinous Adenocarcinoma of Appendix after having an Appendicectomy on 30th August 2022.
I also have a 4cm lesion on my right Adrenal Gland. Hoping this isn’t a metastasis.
Referral to Christie’s Hospital in Manchester sent off Friday with my slides going there also so they can properly grade it.
Anyone else on here with this rare cancer?
Best wishes
Shaz

Hi welcome to the forum . Some people get some “cross over” information from this forum . Although not identical they have a lot in common .
You can also use our search function, top right hand side , as we have had people come through the forum in the past and you might get some information from them .
Christies seems to be the centre of excellence so you are definitely going to the right team .
Interestingly enough to my mum has just had a potential recurrence. Seating cell type to know for sure but she has chest lymph nodes with Mucinous features . We shall see . First time I have seen that .
Take care ,
Court
